From 5k-Marathon, Tempo running is a staple workout for me along with high mileage and hill running. I start my season off with strides, like Marathon-paced runs/intervals, progression runs, Long runs etc... and now getting in some harder tempo runs wt some hill sprints and good strides to turn on the faster muscle fibers!
